Code of Conduct

We aim for everyone who plays Chivalry 2 to have a great experience! To this end, we ask that all players agree to the following Code of Conduct while playing Chivalry 2, creating content around Chivalry 2, using in-game text chat, and using official Chivalry social channels.

  • Be respectful to all Chivalry players.
  • Keep conversations free of any content that is vulgar, excessively violent, or contains offensive language.
  • Do not use any discriminatory language, such as hate speech or slurs. This may include terms regarding ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, religion, sexual preference, personal beliefs, or any current or future discriminatory language that can cause harm or be classified as hate speech.
  • No pornographic or sexually explicit content.
  • Do not stalk, harass, or purposely do anything to make others feel uncomfortable or threatened.
  • Do not share players’ personal or private information with malicious intent or the intent to harm others.
  • Do not intentionally team kill. Intentionally killing your team is against the spirit of the game. Due to the nature of Chivalry 2, unintentional team kills are inevitable, but remember that unneeded team kills or damage can hurt other players’ experience.
  • Do not abuse the vote-to-kick feature to try and remove a player from your team who is not actively breaking the Code of Conduct.
  • Keep the game fair: do not cheat, use third-party programs, use client-side hacks, or exploit bugs and glitches. Do not promote any of the above ways that would make Chivalry inherently less fair.
  • Your platform username must also comply with the Code of Conduct.

Always follow your platform’s Code of Conduct and Terms of Service. (Steam, EGS, Xbox, PS)

If you’re unsure whether your actions violate this Code of Conduct or believe it may be on the line, we suggest you take another moment to think before acting. We reserve the right to restrict offending accounts as necessary to ensure that Chivalry 2 is a fun experience for everyone.
